1. Burn this image only using Disk Utility, toast won't work or
. x' |% E' S, ]: {/ F2 Y$ _2. another way and fastest install:
$ s }+ A# @* wA) Create two partions (GUID) on external drive.8 g, @/ D* q! l: ^: i9 q. Y
B) One no larger that 10 gigs. Call it "Mac OS X Install DVD"
) E6 ?4 i" q% e- L! z- i- EC) Open Disk Utility and do a restore.
- t2 B( Q d2 W! W" |# ~D) Drag 10.5 .dmg file onto the "source field"" y# s9 }' M3 j
E) Drag your newly created "Mac OS X Install DVD" partition into the destination field.
" y1 j, N& p1 O, X) g; aF) Click restore. Takes about twenty minutes.
& Y: v6 {8 L5 r- u9 g" o6 OG) After the restore is complete, open systems preference and select the "Mac OS X Install DVD" partition as your startup device.
